Set-up and stripping of machines pre- and post-run. Troubleshooting dialysis equipment and perform minor repairs to equipment. Patient training (some set up their own machines). Assist with patient care (ie. blood pressures, and occasionally rinse back, etc.)
Ordering and restocking supplies. Patient scheduling, Computer troubleshooting and preparing Excel and Word documents
Total of 56 patients with eventual expansion to a maximum of 114 within the next few years |
